Deliveroo is one of the UK’s biggest online food delivery companies founded by William Shu in 2013 in London, England. Currently the food tech company operates in 80,000 locations across EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).
We were briefed on creating bespoke branded assets, to be used specifically for small independent food businesses and restaurants nationwide, under the Deliveroo roster. Our initial partnership campaigns began in 2019 and have been running through the current pandemic that we are currently experiencing.
We were fortunate enough to form a brand partnership via one of our existing food clients (Habaneros London), which led to us working with the Senior Media & Marketing teams of the burgeoning food tech company. We specifically worked alongside their teams to rollout localised branded social
media content.
The content created was then launched alongside a nationwide TV campaign that went live in March-April 2020, in partnership with Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV. This reached a peak audience of 11.1 million viewers and an average of 9.5 million fans, across the weekend of March 22, 2020.
This campaign then led to us working on a ‘Eat In To Help Out’ initiative in response and in support of the Governments national food discount scheme Eat Out To Help Out.
We are now currently working on seasonal campaigns and promotions for 2021.
